The following authors will will be at the event:

Jonathan Coe Marina Lewycka Vikram Seth all in conversation with Radio Four's Francine Stock

Each collection of Ox-Tales will be created around one of the four elements, to highlight the work of Oxfam's projects, including Earth (from land rights to farming), Air (combating climate change), Fire (campaigning for arms control) and Water (part of their drive for Essential Services For All).

"Ox-Tales is a brilliant idea. Writers doing something useful without leaving home. Readers doing something useful while being entertained. And both of them raising money for Oxfam and helping publicise its work"
Mark Haddon, author of The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-time
